The book of Genesis is a book
of beginnings. The origins of the universe, life, humanity,
marriage, sin, language, government, civilization, the
elect, and God's plan of redemption can all be found in the
book of Genesis.
The book of Genesis is also a book of foundations.
It serves as a pillar for all other theology and doctrine to
be discovered in the Scripture. Without it, an accurate
understanding of the gospel is impossible.
