"God is at work and in control."  As it relates to the salvation and sanctification of His people, God's sovereignty is particularly true.  Not only can God's gracious activity and influence be seen in the history of Israel, but it can be seen in the New Testament church as well.  In this series, we explore the pattern of God's saving work in the early covenant he established with Old Testament sinners, not on the merit of their good works, but for the sake of his good pleasure.  We further take steps to compare this God-honoring pattern with the covenant God has established with his beloved bride, the church.
